Do the same for the other piece.
Mark an opening so you will be able to flip it later on.
ensure not to sew on the opening.
Step 4:
Take out all of the pins and then miter the corners.
Fold the corners, put the two sides together, and you will have a straight fold.
To find your 90-angle, put the edge of the ruler on the fold and draw the line.
Sew on the line, then trim the excess.
Repeat on the other corners.
Step 5:
Turn the blanket right side out from the opening.
Iron it flat and top stitch on the top to hold the two flanels together.
