Chili recipes are usually cooked in the slow cooker since it takes hours before it gets done.
Doing it this way will give depth of flavors.

Then go for this 30-minute chili recipe!
It is delicious and has the slow-cooked flavor that we all crave.

Set aside and allow to cool.
Step 3:
Place a large pot over medium heat.
Add a long drizzle of olive oil, onion, garlic, and a pinch of salt.
Cook for 5 minutes or until soft.
Step 4:
Mix in chili powder, paprika, ground cumin, and chili flakes.
Toast for 20 to 30 seconds.
Mix and scrape the bottom of the pot.
Mix well then let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Simmer for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Simmer for 2 more minutes.
