Stop using store-bought cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving and make it from scratch instead.
Believe it or not, making homemade cranberry jam is incredibly easy.
it’s possible for you to make it chunky or smooth, or mildly sweet or super sweet.

If you find store-bought cranberry sauce too sweet, make them at home instead.
You only need cranberries, powdered sugar or granulated sugar, orange juice, and water.
Step 2:
Add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon or orange juice.
Mix and bring it to a boil.
Step 3:
Once boiling, turn the heat to medium flame and cook for 15 minutes.
Allow the berries to burst.
Step 4:
Using a masher, mash the cranberries.
Alternatively, you could use a handheld mixer or blender.
Discard the seeds using a spoon.
Step 5:
Let it cook until it becomes thick.
Once the jam is thick, turn off the heat.
Let it cool completely.
It can be stored in the refrigerator for three weeks.
you might also freeze it.
Simply transfer the cooled jam into a clean jar with a lid.
It can be stored for a year.
