Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then continuously stir while remaining over low heat for 15 minutes.

Step 3:
After the 15 minutes, see if the fudge is ready.
Get a jug of cold water and a teaspoon.
Take a small amount of the fudge.
Drop it into the cold water, then take it with your fingers.
Otherwise, cook for a few more minutes on the stove until you achieve the right consistency.
Step 4:
Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl.
Place in the fridge for at least an hour to allow it to firm up nicely.
Store in the fridge until ready to be eaten.
