Once you taste this freshly made cranberry sauce, you will never buy one from the stores again.
Pair it with turkey, bread, cheese, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, or apple crisp.
Stir occasionally until the sugars dissolve, then let it come to a boil.
Step 2:
Add the cranberries and bring it back to a boil.
Once boiling, lower the heat to simmer.
Be careful with this step as the cranberries may splatter.
It will become thicker the longer you cook the cranberries, but it will also thicken up standing.
Step 3:
Transfer the sauce to a bowl and place at room temperature.
Allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes.
Once cooled, cover and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
