Whisk until well combined.
Step 2:
Add 2 cups of bread flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the mixture.
Fold until it forms a dough, then roughly knead it into a lump with your hand.
Step 4:
Add the room-temperature unsalted butter to the dough and knead for about 7 minutes.
It will be sticky, but just keep kneading until it becomes smooth.
Step 5:
Press the dough flat and divide it into 10.
Form each into a ball then cover again with a wrap.
Let it ferment for 20 minutes.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a rectangular shape.
Step 7:
Stretch the end of the dough with your fingertips then roll from the top.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Do the same with the remaining balls.
confirm to put some space between the dough.
Cover with cling wrap and ferment until it becomes 1.5 times larger for about 1 hour.
Step 8:
In a bowl, combine 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of water.
Step 9:
Apply the egg mixture to the dough for a pretty burnt color.
Step 10:
Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for about 17 to 20 minutes.
