If you want to make a quick and impressive quilt top, this is the one to go for.

I thought it was going to take me several hours to finish this quilt, but I was wrong.

I couldnt believe how easy it was.

It only took me a couple of hours to finish the quilt top!

Its not as hard as it looks, I promise.

Even beginners wont have a hard time following the steps.

How to Make Basic X-Block Ruler Quilt

People will think youve spent a lot of time making this project.

Step 2:

Get the ruler and place on top of your unit.

Align the lines on your ruler just like in the photo below.

Repeat with the remaining strip.

You should have 7 blocks.

Step 3:

Take four of the squares and arrange them just like in the photo below.

Sew them in pairs, then sew them together to make the block.

confirm to nest the seams.

You have a 4 blocks by 5 blocks in the center.

You will have three leftover blocks for each strip set.

Sew them in pairs to make star halves.

Use them as borders to make another stars.
