This cake is super easy to make and does not require any frosting.
It is absolutely delicious, perfect even without the cream cheese frosting.
Preheat your oven to 375F.
Step 2:
In a bowl, add 2 eggs and 1 cup of sugar.
Whisk on high speed for about 5 minutes, or until light in color and thick.
Whisk on low speed until well combined.
Whisk until well combined.
Add to the batter 1/3 at a time, whisking after every addition.
check that not to overmix it.
Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1/2 tablespoon of lemon zest.
Step 5:
Rinse the blueberries well, then drain.
Stir until well combined and there are no dry white cornstarch.
Step 6:
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Top it with half of the blueberries.
Pour the remaining batter, then sprinkle the rest of the blueberries evenly on top.
Push them down slightly into the batter.
Let it cool until room temp.
Dust with powdered sugar on top before serving.
