How to Make Peach Cobbler With Bourbon

Step 2:

Place 2 pie crusts into your prepared pan, overlapping them.

Poke the crust using the tines of a fork, then sprinkle with cinnamon.

Place it in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 3:

Place a pan over medium heat and add 1/2 stick of butter.

Once melted, add the peaches with the juice.

Mix and bring it to a boil.

Step 4:

Once boiling, add white and brown sugar.

Mix until melted, then add the bourbon.

Cook the alcohol, and bring it to a boil.

Let it simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes on medium-high.

Step 5:

Make the slurry by combining the two ingredients in a small bowl.

Add to the peach mixture and stir well.

Continue mixing until the sauce thickens, then remove from heat.

Step 6:

Remove the baked crust from the oven and transfer the peach mixture.
