The vanilla sauce is also really good, so dont skip it.
Step 2:
Add the eggs in a large bowl and whisk well.
Whisk until well combined.
Step 3:
Add the bread to the pudding and soak for 15 minutes.
confirm everything is submerged.
Step 4:
After 15 minutes, transfer half of the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle half of the raisins on top.
Add the remaining bread mixture, then sprinkle the remaining raisins.
Step 5:
Place inside a 350F oven for an hour.
To find out if its done, insert a skewer in the middle.
If it comes out clean, your bread pudding is ready.
Step 6:
Make the vanilla sauce.
Add the butter into a saucepan over heat.
Once melted, add the heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and custard powder.
Mix until well combined.
Keep the heat to low.
Keep on stirring until it thickens.
Turn off the heat.
Step 7:
Drizzle the vanilla sauce on top while its hot.
Let it cool down for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
