It is simply the best.

The beef is perfectly cooked, and coated with a thick and delicious soy-based sauce.

I wanted to recreate it at home, so I looked for recipes online and foundSimply Mama Cooksvideo.

I immediately tried it, and it turned out delicious.

It has the same flavor as my favorite pepper steak!

How to Make Chinese Take Out Pepper Steak

Add the thinly sliced meat and mix until well coated.

Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

After that, rinse it with cold water.

Add the meat and blanch for a minute.

Remove from the wok.

Step 3:

Make the sauce.

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Mix until well combined.

Step 4:

In a clean wok, add 2 tablespoons of oil.

Once hot, add the beef, whites of the scallions, minced garlic, and ginger paste.

Mix until well combined.

Step 5:

Mix in the onion and bell pepper.

Add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and the sauce.

Push the beef to the side and let the sauce thicken.

Once thick, give it a mix until well coated, then turn off the heat.
