Making these cookies is super easy and not as hard as you think.
Plus, you only need basic baking ingredients.

Step 2:
In a bowl, add the butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
Cream together using a hand mixer.
Alternatively, you could use your stand mixer.
Step 3:
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture.
Beat until well combined.
Step 4:
Add the cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Beat until well incorporated.
Step 5:
Stir in the flour using a spoon or rubber spatula until well combined.
Add the chocolate chips and pecans.
Place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Repeat with the remaining cookie dough.
You should have 24 cookies.
Place it in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 7:
After 30 minutes, remove from the freezer and place in the preheated oven.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Step 8:
Unwrap the caramels and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.
Add the heavy cream, then microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir, then microwave again for 30 seconds.
Repeat until completely melted and smooth.
Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
