Serve it with ahot cup of chocolateor milk on a winter night to keep you cozy and warm.
Mix with the paddle attachment on medium speed until fluffy.
Step 3:
Add the molasses, followed by the egg and vanilla.
Step 4:
Divide the dough into two portions and flatten into disks using a rolling pin.
Cover them with plastic wrap, then place in the refrigerator for about 4 hours or overnight.
Step 5:
After 4 hours or a night has passed, preheat your oven to 350F.
Roll the dough about 1/4-inch in thickness.
Step 6:
Using a cookie cutter, cut out gingerbread people or shapes.
Carefully transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.
For the icing:
In a bowl, sift the powdered sugar and cream.
Mix in the egg white.
Next, add water until you achieve the consistency that you want.
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small round tip or with the tip snipped off.
Decorate the cookies, then add sprinkles or candies.
