What is an old-fashioned dish that you always make at home?
For me, it is this classic liver and onions recipe.
It is easy to prepare and only requires a couple of ingredients.

Some say that soaking it in milk for 30 to 60 minutes can remove the bitterness!
It comes together easily and quickly.
Remember not to overcook it.
If it is well done, it can taste very bitter.
You surely do not want that to happen.
It should have minimal to no odor.
Melt the butter, then add sliced onion.
Cook until softened for about 5 minutes.
Mix to form a paste.
Add this mixture to the rest of the beef stock.
Mix, then pour into the skillet.

Serve immediately.
