Half-square triangles are probably one of the easiest blocks to make.
Any beginner can easily create one, so I am sure everyone can finish this project quickly.
For this block, youll need 16 half-square triangles, also known as HSTs.
These will then be assembled to form a block in the shape of an 8.
Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner in both directions on the wrong side of the fabric.
Sew a 1/4 away from both sides of the diagonal lines.
Cut directly on the drawn lines and down the middle horizontally and vertically.
You should have 8 half-square triangles.
Repeat with all the 10 square pairing.
Draw a diagonal line and sew with a 1/4 seam allowance on both sides of the line.
Cut directly on the drawn line to make 2 half-square triangles.
Step 4:
Arrange 16 half-square triangles into a block forming an 8.

Step 5:
Sew them in rows first.
Once done, see the rows together to make the block.
Repeat the same steps for the remaining HSTs.
