I have never thought of combining these delicious treats.
All I can say is that it did not disappoint.
The flavors are incredible!
Its absolutely the perfect dessert or breakfast treat.
The richness and creaminess of the creme brulee is perfect with the buttery toast.
It only takes 25 minutes to prepare the pastry cream and french toast.

Bring it to a simmer.
Step 2:
Make the egg mixture.
Separate the yolks from the whites.
Place the yolks in a bowl.
Sprinkle the sugar, salt, and vanilla.
Place a strainer over the bowl, and sift the cornstarch.
Gradually pour the hot milk while continuously whisking.
Step 3:
Make the pastry cream.
Place a pan over heat over medium-low heat.
Using a strainer, pour the egg yolk mixture.
Use a whisk to push the remaining milk through the strainer.
Keep whisking until it thickens.
Once thickened, remove from heat.
Stir in 2 tablespoons of butter to the custard until it melts and is evenly incorporated.
Pour it into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap directly over the surface.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Step 4:
Make the french toast mixture.
Add egg yolks, sugar, heavy cream, salt, and vanilla essence to a mixing bowl.
Step 5:
Cook the french toast.
Place a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
Once melted, take 6 to 7 slices of thick bread and dip them into the french toast mixture.
Soak each slice for 30 seconds on each slice.
Cook one slice at a time for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Transfer to a serving plate.
Step 6:
Take the pastry cream out of the refrigerator and whisk to smoothen.
Spread a generous amount on each slice of french toast.
Decorate with strawberry slices.
