You only need 2 1/2 print strips and 5 background squares for this quilt.

To prevent bowing or curving, do not sew them in the same direction.
Alternate the direction for each strip.
Go top to bottom, reverse, then repeat until the last strip.
Step 2:
Cut the 5-unit strip into 4-inch segments.
You should get 8 pieces.
Step 3:
Take a 5 background square and cut in half diagonally from corner to corner.
Step 4:
Take one of the 4-inch strip and fold in half to make a crease.
Do the same for the background triangles.
Place one on top of the 4 strip, check that it is centered.
Use the crease line as a guide then sew on the edge.
Repeat to the other side.
Cut into a square, using the 5 square as the guide.
Step 5:
Arrange them just like in the photo below.
