I love the combination of shapes and colors, making the crown stand out.
The gray squares and triangles definitely complement the colorful triangles.
If you love star-like patterns, you should definitely add this to your project list.
Both of the two small blocks are made withhalf-square trianglesand squares, so they are still beginner-friendly.
It takes more effort to make this quilt, but you will feel proud once you finish this project.
Place them right sides together, then draw a diagonal line from corner to corner.
Sew a 1/4 away from the line on both sides.
Cut in half directly on the line.
Press it open with the dark fabric on top.
Trim the squares if needed.
Repeat with the other squares.
You need four of this block for each of the big blocks.
Get a 4 1/2 printed square and gray square.
Arrange the half-square triangles and squares in a block just like in the photo below.
Sew into a block.
You need four pieces of this block.
Arrange the blocks just like in the photo on the top.
Sew them together to make a 24 inch block.
