Get one background square and one print square.

Place them on top of each other with the background on top.

Once done, cut directly on the line.

Trim into 4 1/2 squares and press them open toward the dark sides.

Repeat with one pack of 5 print squares and 5 background squares.

Step 2:

Make four patches.

Take one print square and one background square.

Place them on top of each other, right sides together.

Sew just on the sides.

Next, cut it in half and press open.

Repeat to a different print square.

Sew straight on the sides.

After that, cut it in half and press open.

Repeat with the other pack of 5 print squares and 5 background squares.

Step 3:

Get two four-patches and two half-square triangles.

Arrange them just like in the photo below.

Once you sew them by row, sew the rows together to make the block like a four-patch.
