Step 2:
Get a yarn and roll it 60 times on the middle of the cardboard.
Once done, cut the end of the yarn.
Step 3:
Push down the rolled yarn to the cut rectangular part.
Insert the yarn into the rectangle and make a knot.
Remove from the cardboard.
Spread and flatten it to make it round.
Cut the yarn in the middle of the folds and trim it to make it perfectly round.
Comb the yarn to separate the threads.
Once done, it will look like a fluffy ball.
Step 5:
Sew the pompoms one by one in this pattern.
Pass the needle with thread into each pompom twice then start sewing it to the canvas cloth.
double-check to secure each pompom by making a knot at the back.
you could do it by row or column to make the process easier.
Check each piece if aligned before proceeding with the next row or column.
Continue the same process until you finish the whole rug.
