Cut both on the seam line, then sew them together.

DIY Multipurpose Organizer using old Jeans

Step 2:

Lay the jeans flat with the long side in front of you.

Cut it out to make a rectangular piece.

Step 3:

Cut 4 pieces of 13 x 8 denim fabrics for the pockets.

Step 6:

Next, cut 4 strips that are 2 wide.

Fold them in half lengthwise and press with an iron.

Open and fold the sides toward the center line.

Fold again in half and press.

Get one pocket fabric and insert one long side between the folded strip.

Sew it on the edge.

Repeat with the remaining strips and pocket fabrics.

Pin them in place.

Start stitching on the bottom edge and sides of the first pocket from the top.

Continue sewing all the way to the bottom.

Step 9:

Place the lining on the back.

Fold ends twice then sew.

Pin them in place and cut the lining just like the front.

Step 10:

Stitch all the way around.

Insert a rectangular cardboard at the back to keep it in shape.
