Trace a lid over a piece of cardboard, then trace a penny in the center.
(The size of the template depends on how big you like your pom poms to be.)
Make two of these.
DIY pompom flower mug rug!
Tie a knot and remove it from the template.
Make a total of five petals and one different-colored pom pom for the flowers center.
Once done, start to assemble the flower mug rug by hot gluing the parts together.
Your DIY flower mug rug is now finished!
