Measure 12 from the lower waist jeans, and mark it.
Make a line from that mark and cut it.
Step 2:
Remove the waistband, tag, and belt loops using a seam ripper.
Step 3:
Cut it in the middle following the seams.
Remove the fly part, then cut the denim fabric in half.
Cut two rectangles on the denim using this pattern.
Sew each on the denim rectangles.
Press it with an iron, then glue the same size polyester fiber sheet on top.
Repeat on the other rectangle.
Fold to get the midpoint.
Step 7:
Make two handles with the lining fabric.
Step 8:
Get the bottom part of the jeans and cut one leg in the middle.
Cut a 10 1/2 diameter circle.
Press the fusible interfacing and stitch the polyester sheet.
Fold and get the midpoint.
Step 9:
Stitch the circle on the bottom of the sewn rectangles.
Flip it right side out.
Step 10:
Sew the handles.
Step 12:
Place the basket inside the lining and sew on top.
Step 13:
Pull it right side out from the opening, then shut the gap.
Top stitch the edge.
