Let it completely dry before painting the insides.
Attach them using E6000.
Arrange them properly so the planter can stand straight and carry the weight.
Once you are satisfied with the arrangement, attach them by adding glue to the edges.
Allow them to completely dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
It doesnt have to be perfect and neat.

Then paint some random pieces where it looks like the paint might have chipped.
Remove everything from the candy cane and cut the bottom of the curve to make it straight.
Spray paint everything black and let them dry.
Let it dry and attach using hot glue and E6000.
Attach the pumps on the left and right of the candy cane with E6000 and hot glue.
