Cut the spikes from the fence using your utility knife.
Set aside the 3 pieces as you are still going to use them later on.
Step 2:
Using a sponge brush, paint the front of the fence.
For the back, use a thin brush.
Dont paint the whole surface for a shabby chic look.
Also, paint the spikes.
Once you trimmed all of them, bend each one lightly to make a cage.
Do not use too much force as it may break.
Use a hair dryer to bend them easily.
Bend the pieces while twisting the wire.
Step 5:
Attach the spikes on top of the cage using hot glue.
Add hot glue to the corners to secure them.
Once dried, paint the wires and hot glue.
