Its very simple to follow, I promise.

If you are still a beginner, go ahead and try this pattern at home.

How to Make a Double Star Quilt

Set the 2 small squares aside with the 5 square, then the other for another square later.

Arrange them just like in the photo below.

Do not sew them together yet.

Double Square Star Quilt

Fold the 2 1/2 squares in half diagonally to make a crease.

Place one 2 1/2 square on one end of the 7 strip and sew directly on the line.

double-check to follow the direction of the small squares below.

Repeat on the 5 strip.

Cut the excess and press them open toward the dark side.

Sew the 5 strip on the 5 square first, followed by the 7 strip.

Repeat to make 4 pieces of this block.

Step 3:

Sew the four blocks together just like in the photo below.
