The pinwheel quilt pattern is one of the most famous blocks out there.
You probably already made one before.
Its easy and beginner-friendly.

I think it looks gorgeous.
It creates 2 pinwheels, one small and one large.
That alteration made a huge difference in how the block turned out.
It is definitely more interesting, right?
All the pinwheel looks like they are all connected.
Making this block is easy.
From your background fabric, cut a 4 strip and 2 1/2 strip.
Cut the 4 strip into 4 squares, then cut the 2 1/2 strip into 2 1/2 squares.
Fold the 2 1/2 squares in half diagonally to make a crease for each one.
Place one square on one end of the rectangles and sew directly on the diagonal lines.
Trim the excess and iron it open.
Step 3:
Get one 4 block, one long block, and one short block.
Sew them just like in the photo below.
Repeat to make a total of four blocks.
Step 4:
Arrange the four blocks just like in the photo below.
