Next, peel your apples, remove the cores, and dice them into 1/3-inch thick pieces.
Now, place a pot over medium heat.
Melt one tablespoon of butter, then add the diced apples.
Cook while stirring occasionally; until they are softened, about five minutes.
Continue simmering the apples for about three minutes or until they are soft and caramelized.
After this, take them off the heat and set them aside to cool.
Roll the sheet into an 11-inch square using a rolling pin, then cut it into four equal-sized squares.
Transfer them to a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
(Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F at this point.)
After baking, let them cool slightly.
Drizzle the glaze over the apple turnovers while they are still warm.
