It also has an amazing combination of herbs and spices and is slow-cooked in red wine sauce.
Mix well and marinate for 12 to 24 hours.
After this, strain from the liquid and pat the cubed beef to dry.
Once the cubed beef are completely dry, season them with salt and pepper.
Next, put the red wine sauce in a pot and boil it, then reduce the heat.
In another saucepan, heat some oil and fry the cubed beef and bacon until browned.
Now, saute the mushrooms and onion separately using the same pan.
Next, add the flour and mix until the flour is no longer visible.
Slowly pour the wine mixture followed by the beef stock while stirring continuously.
Add the beef, bacon, thyme, bay leaf, and salt and pepper into the pot.
Bring everything to a simmer, then cover the pot and place it in the oven for one hour.
After an hour, stir in the onions and mushrooms.
Cover again and return to oven for 1 hour.
