The cathedral window block is one of my favorite quilt blocks.

Its just simple yet elegant.

If its your first time seeing one, youd probably think its too difficult to make.

Repeat 3 more times to make four.

Step 2:

Take one print square and two folded background squares.

Then take another print square and place it on top.

Pin everything in place.

Sew on the right side with a 1/4 seam allowance.

Open and press it flat.

Make two pieces in different colors.

Step 3:

Arrange the two pieces together so that a diamond forms in the middle.

Step 4:

Take another 5 print square and place it in the center of the diamond.

Repeat on all four sides.

Do the same process for other print squares and background squares to make more blocks.

Sew the blocks together in rows, then sew the rows together to make the quilt top.
