This is one of the easiest projects youll ever make, as you only needhalf-square trianglesto make the block.
If you already know how to make one, youll finish this right away.
But dont worry, if you are new to this, its absolutely simple.
Im sure youll enjoy making this table runner.
Draw a line from corner to corner, then sew 1/4 away from both sides of it.
Cut directly on the line.
Set the seams and press them open.
Now, you have half-square triangles.
Repeat with the other green and red squares.
Trim them into 4 1/2 squares.
Step 2:
Separate the green HSTs from the red HSTs.
Step 3:
Arrange the half-square triangles just like in the photo below.
To make one block, you will need about 16 half-square triangles.
Sew them in rows first, then sew them all together to make the block.
Repeat to make 3 blocks.
Step 4:
Sew the three blocks together to make the block.
Quilt, bind, and enjoy sewing!
