In another saucepan, melt a/4 cup of butter over medium heat, then add the diced onion.
Saute the onion until tender.
(About five to seven minutes.)
Once the onions are soft, add 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour and three cloves of minced garlic.
Cook for about 90 seconds, then pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and 2 cups of milk.
Season with 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
Bring it to a simmer.
Turn off the heat and stir everything well.
After this, grab your sauce and pour it all over the egg noodles.
Mix it until all of the egg noodles are evenly coated.
Sping this mixture right on top of the casserole.
Bake in a 400-degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
