Whisk everything until smooth and the sugars dissolved.
Once done, sift the mixture and let it sit for ten to thirty minutes.
Mix well, then add 1/4 cup of butter.
Using a butter cutter, mix the butter in to incorporate it with the flour.
Once done, wrap it with a plastic and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F at this point also.
In the meantime, grease the muffin tin with some melted butter.
Now, roll out the dough between 1/4 and 1/8 thickness.
After this, cut out the crust with a cookie cutter slightly larger than the muffin tin cups.
After this, divide the custard mixture on each crust.
Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg powder on top (optional).
Place them in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
After baking, let them cool for 15 to 20 minutes to let the custard set.
