You will be making your own pattern for this project.
You will be using thepaper gift bagfor the guide.
All you’re gonna wanna cut it on the sides, and thats it.
No need to measure the sizes one by one.
you’re free to choose any size and fabric you want.
Step 2:
Cut the center fold on one side, following the line to the bottom.
Next, cut along the bottom, right to the corner.
Repeat to the other side.
Now you have the pattern.
Mark where the handles were, where the fold lines were and the seam along the bottom.
Step 4:
Place it on top of your fabric.
check that you have an inch excess all the way around.
Sew the two layers together.
Sep 5:
Stitch a quarter inch onto the soft and stable all the way around.
Step 6:
Take your lining and place on your work surface right side up.
Place the front of the bag right side down.
Cut with a seam allowance all the way around at 1/2.
Next, pin the straps out of your way.
Step 8:
Fold the bag in half, right sides together.
Sew right beside the soft and stable.
Press the seams open.
Step 9:
Take the bottom, and sew right along your soft and stable.
Do it on both sides.
Turn the bag right side out.
Step 10:
Fold the lining in half and sew 1/2 seam allowance on one side.
Press your seams open and flat.
Step 11:
Take the bag and slide it inside the lining.
Match up the side seams and raw seams.
Sew right beside the soft and stable all the way around.
Step 12:
Turn the bag on the opening.
Top stitch the edges.
Step 13:
Press the sides of the bag just like a paper bag.
