Apinwheel blockis one of the easiest and most basic blocks that a lot of quilters love.
Its just easy to make and looks adorable when finished.
I already made it several times and gifted it to my friends and family.

One of my favorite variations of it is this double pinwheel quilt block.
Its clean and fun great for a weekend project at home.
But do not worry!
It is still as easy as the basic one.

Sew 1/4 away from the drawn line.
Trim 1/4 from the stitch line and press open.
Repeat 3 more times to make 4 units.
Trim each one into 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 squares.
Step 4:
Assemble the block just like in the photo below.
Sew like a four patch.
Trim into 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 square block.
