I already made it a couple of times, and it always turns out amazing.
Im sure youll never go back to store-bought dough again once you try this.
Step 3:
Divide the dough in half, then shape each into a 5-inch disc.
Wrap one in with a wax paper and set it aside.
Patch and trim edges if needed.
Add leftover dough to the wrapped half.
Place them both in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Step 5:
Make the filling.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, tapioca, and spices.
Step 6:
Peel and core the apples, then cut them into 3/4-inch slices.
Step 7:
Add apples to the tapioca mixture and mix until well-coated.
Transfer to the prepared pie pan.
Trim or flute the edges.
Brush the top with one tablespoon of milk, then sprinkle it with sugar.
double-check to avoid the rim.
To avoid spilling, place it on a baking sheet.
Bake it for about 50 to 55 minutes or until the crust is golden.
Once done, let it cool completely before serving.
