And boy, this is by far my favorite casserole dish of all time!
Try this today and see for yourself.
Whisk well until well combined.
Mix and bring it to a simmer.
Let it thicken a little, then add 4 oz softened cream cheese.
Mix until the cream cheese is fully combined with the sauce.
(Taste test at this point and add salt and seasoning.)
After this, stack ten corn tortillas and cut them in half.

Add some cream cheese sauce at the bottom, then layer the corn tortillas, covering the whole surface.
Repeat these steps until your casserole dish is full.
After baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool a bit before serving.
