After this, sew five strips together using a 1/4 seam, then press the seams to one way.
Trim the block to 10 1/2 afterward.
Repeat these steps to create more blocks.
Just lay the first block going horizontally, then the next one going vertically.
Repeat this until you are five blocks across and below, alternating every other block.
Sew them together to finish the quilt top.
