It is made from rectangles and squares, allowing you to clearly showcase the design of each fabric.

Start by using the rectangles from your pile of fabric scraps.

This is a great way to reuse them instead of throwing them away.

Step 2:

Arrange the rectangles just like in the photo below.

Place the triangles on the top and bottom.

Step 5:

Get the 2 background square and cut in half diagonally.

Place the triangles on the sides of the middle row.

Step 6:

Start by sewing them in rows.

Once the rows are done, sew them together to make the block.

Press it flat, then trim into a 8 3/4 inch square.
