If you dont have an oven and are craving cornbread, this recipe is for you.
Step 2:
While waiting for the skillet to heat, make the cornbread mixture.
In a mixing bowl, add one egg and beat well.
Mix until well combined.
Step 3:
To verify if your pan is hot enough, add a drop of water.
If it sizzles, your pan is ready.
Add 1 teaspoon of butter and swirl it around until melted.
Step 4:
Pour the batter and spread over the pan.
Place the lid and set the timer for 10 minutes.
If you want it to be extra crispy, take the lid off.
Turn the heat off and let it sit for a few more minutes.
Step 6:
Transfer to a plate.
Spread butter on top.
