Step 1
First, make the hourglass block.

Choose two squares from your pack.
Then, draw one diagonal line across one square.
Cut it directly on the line afterward and press open.
After this, take your ruler, then draw a line across the opposite of the seam way.

Step 2
Now, make four sets of eight half-square triangles.
Choose four fabrics and four contrasting fabrics from the pack.
Draw an X and sew on both sides of both of the lines.
Next, cut it in half vertically and horizontally.
Square them up afterward, then press open.
Step 3
Now, start laying your quilt top.
Sew your half-square triangles into flying geese.
Make several sets of these.
After this, lay your hourglass block in the middle and put the flying geese units around it.
Continue this step to build your big block, then sew all the pieces together.
Make four of this big block to complete your quilt top.
