I know its frustrating when your screen door doesnt move smoothly.
It just gets stuck in the middle and requires a lot of effort to move.
I experienced this on a bad day, and it was the worst!

I had enough, so I finally searched online for a solution and saw this video byTomahawk DIY.
It was so helpful I fixed it in just 2 minutes.

Step 1:
Check your screen door.
Is it struggling to remove and gets stuck in the middle?
It can be frustrating to force it daily, and over time it can lead to more damage.
Usually, you’re free to tell as you move the screen.
Check which side is closer to the edge than it should be.
It also makes a grinding and scraping sound when you move it.
Step 3:
Insert the putty knife on the bottom edge and push the screen door up.
Once its lifted, you’re free to see the grooved wheel.
It needs to sit directly over the metal rack so that roll smoothly.
When that happens, try the other side of the wheel.
It should lift up very easily.
