Repeat with the remaining strips.
Next, sew them in pairs with the colored sides touching.
Set the seams and press each one open.
Step 2:
Trim each one into 5 units.
Step 3:
Arrange the units and the square just like in the photo below.
Sew them together to make the block.
Set the seams and press flat.
Trim into a 7 1/4 block.
Step 4:
Make 8 blocks.
Step 6:
Arrange the blocks just like in the photo below.
Place them on the corners to make a rectangle.
Sew the blocks together in rows first diagonally.
Once done, sew the rows together to make the quilt top.
