Grab your 30-degree triangle ruler and cut ten firecracker wedges.
after you grab ten pieces, make your background wedges.
Make 16 pieces of background wedges.
After this, start assembling your firecracker unit.
Put two of the background wedges with one firecracker wedge between them.
(double-check to align the tip first, securing it with pins, then sew).
Make a bunch of these units as needed for your quilt.
Next, lay four units with the points in the center, then sew them together.
Repeat this step to make more blocks.
Now, put two blocks, right sides together, and pin in every intersection.
