When my remote control batteries run out, I remove them, rotate them, and place them back.
It gives me a few days to spare to grab new batteries before they run out again.
Another trick I learned several weeks ago is using triple-A batteries instead of double-A batteries.
Yes, you’re free to use an AAA battery if you dont have an AA battery.
All you need is foil!

Its simple and will only take you a couple of seconds.
No need for tools to fix it!
Try it next time your TV remote stops working.
Take your finger and rub the batteries back and forth with friction fast for a few seconds.
Place the cover back on the remote control and it should work.
If it stops again, just simply repeat the process.
