Its so simple and lovely.
The bright pink cornerstones with colorful hexagons look so festive and lively that they catch your attention.
I am sure this pattern will be perfect for Christmas as they look like ornaments from afar.
Making this is very easy, and its not as complicated as it seems.
The sewing process is straightforward thanks to the half-hexi template.
Even beginners can easily understand the instructions.
Place the half hexi template.
Lay the ruler so that the long part is in the middle, then cut.
Repeat with the other half.
Step 3:
Separate the white ones from the colored ones.
Get the white ones, stack them, and cut them in half.
Place them beside the colored half hexagon just like in the photo below.
Lay them out first then fold them over.
The straight edges dont match up with anything.
Just lay it as close to fitting as you could.
You will have a little bit of color peeking out.
Sew them with a 1/4 seam allowance.
Do it on both sides.
Step 4:
Sew the two units together to form a hexagon.
Step 5:
Add a 1 1/2 sashing to each block.
You will be sewing 9 blocks in a row with strips in between.
In between each row, you are going to add a sashing row with your 1 1/2 cornerstones.
Just the 1/4 yard of fabric and cut 1 1/2 strips and sub-cut to 1 1/2 squares.
