After this, cut your background fabric into sixteen 2 1/2 strips.
Then, subcut each background strip into 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 rectangles.
Now, take four of the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 rectangles and four 2 1/2 squares.
After sewing, trim off the sides again to complete the geese.
Repeat these steps to create more blocks.
