Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner in both directions.
Sew on both sides of the lines with a quarter of an inch seam allowance.
Step 2:
Cut it in half vertically and horizontally.
After that, cut it into drawn lines.
All of that will make the legs of the star.
Step 4:
You need 4 more half-square triangles for the center.
Just repeat steps 1 to 3, but set the flour blocks aside for the center of two stars.
Step 5:
Trim the blocks into 4 1/2 squares.
Repeat to make a total of 4.
Press all of them open.
Sew them into a four-patch.
Sew the middle sides first, then sew the top and bottom into rows.
Once done, sew them into a block.
Press it with an iron.
This will be block A. Repeat the steps with the first block.
Step 10:
You need 5 rows with 4 blocks on each row.
Alternate blocks A and B for each row.
