Cut another 2 & 1/2 x 5 on the opposite side.
Now, working on the center square, cut it in half down in the center on both sides.
Set the pieces on the side, and repeat the same steps with the rest of the layer cakes.
(Dont forget to trim the excess fabric off.)
Once all of your blocks are finished, start laying your quilt out.
