Next, add salt to taste in a pot of water, then toss in the diced potatoes.
Allow the water to boil, and cook the potatoes until fork tender.
After this, drain the potatoes well and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
Add 1 cup of milk and 3 tbsp of butter.
Mash until smooth, then set aside.
Next, heat some olive oil and add the diced onion and minced garlic.
Saute until the onion turns soft, then add the ground beef.
Season with salt to taste and 1 tsp paprika.
Break the ground beef apart, mix, and cover and let the meat cook for ten minutes.
After ten minutes, add the chopped parsley and chopped spring onions.

Now, its time to assemble the casserole.
Then, add a layer of grated mozzarella cheese followed by the ground beef mixture.
Add the rest of the mashed potato and top it with the rest of the grated mozzarella cheese.
Put the casserole in the oven at 400 degrees F and bake for 40 minutes.
